Soil analysis
The «Soil analysis» page allows to analyze the soil compaction for all of the organization's fields with linked tests at once. The workspace of this page contains a geographical map and a fields list of the organization without grouping.
From the dropdown list above the map, select the time period during which the tests for calculating field compaction should have been conducted. Only fields that have tests for the selected period are displayed on the map.
Select the «User defined» option to specify a custom time period.
Fields list
The fields list contains brief information about each field: name and average compaction (in kPa). Average compaction is indicated for a field only if there are tests conducted during the selected time period and linked to that field; it is calculated based on the values from these tests. The most recent test within the selected period is used for this calculation.
- Click on a field name in the list to display information about that field in the pop-up window.
- Click on the average compaction value of a field in the list to go to the details page of the most recent test for that field from the selected period.
The seed layer depth is 10 cm. The arable layer depth is 20 cm.
Geographical map
See the description for working with the geographical map.
Browse compaction maps for the fields based on their most recent tests from the selected period:
- Click «Compaction map» in the geographical map area to enable the rendering of field compaction maps and show the map legend.
- Use the slider to adjust the depth and observe the change in the color shading of different field areas. The color indicates the soil compaction of an area at the selected depth according to the map legend. Depth adjustment is applied to all fields simultaneously.
