Importing boundary version
This page describes the procedure for adding a new version of a field boundary.
- In the «Add boundary: step 1» window, select the boundary file type and click «Select file».
- In the pop-up window, select the boundary file to import.
- Click «Next» in the «Add boundary: step 1» window.

- In the «Add boundary: step 2» window:
- In the left table, select the boundary from the file that will be imported as the new boundary version for the field.
- In the right table, select the field for which the new boundary version will be imported.
tip
Search for boundaries and fields by their names by filling the «Search» text box above the appropriate table.
- Click
to link the selected boundary and field. If the boundary and field names match, click
to link them automatically. The row of the successfully linked boundary is marked with
.
- Click «
Select date» in the desired boundary's row.
- Choose the start date of the validity period for the new boundary version.
- Click «Save».
- Make sure that the selected boundary and field are linked, and then click «Upload» button in the «Add boundary: step 2» window.

Multiple import
If the file selected in the «Add boundary: step 1» window contains multiple boundaries, they can be imported all at once as new boundary versions for different fields in the «Add boundary: step 2» window.
In this case, you can quickly set the same start date of the validity period for multiple boundary versions being imported by following these steps:
- Use the checkboxes to select the desired boundaries.
- Click the «
Select date» menu above the left table.
- Set the desired date. In order to set the current date, click «Current date» next to the «Select date» menu.
- Click «Save».

caution
Before clicking «Upload», make sure that all required boundaries and fields are linked. If a boundary is not linked to a field, it will not be imported.
