Field compaction map
The field compaction map is a set of images (layers) that display compaction values for each centimeter layer of soil. The compaction map is generated when a test is created (during the processing of penetrations data received from the penetrometer) and can contain up to 60 images, depending on the penetration depth achieved in that test.
A test must be linked to a field and contain three or more penetrations in order to have a compaction map generated for it.
Click «Compaction map» on the test details page to enable the rendering of the field compaction map and to show the map legend. Use the slider to adjust the depth and observe the changes in the color shading of different field areas and the changes of the soil compaction values below the penetration markers. The color and value indicate the soil compaction of an area at the selected depth according to the map legend.

Browse the compaction maps for all of the organization's fields at once on the «Soil analysis» page.
