Select the test creation method (the condition for combining penetration points) for the organization:

  • By fields (default method) — the test will include all penetrations whose coordinates belong to one of the organization's fields and which were made within the specified number of days (from 1 to 3). If there is no field in SmartSoil to link penetrations, then these penetrations will be combined into tests by days (penetrations from the specified number of days will be included in a single test).
  • By days — the test will include all penetrations made within the specified number of days (from 1 to 3).
  • By the time of data reception — the test will include all penetrations whose data was received from the penetrometer within the specified number of minutes (from 30 to 600).

caution

The count of days (for the «By fields» and «By days» options) starts from the moment of the first (earliest) penetration in the test.

info

It is recommended to use the «By days» and «By the time of data reception» options for combining penetrations when there are no fields in SmartSoil. If a test is created without being linked to a field, compaction maps are not generated for it; however, such test can be recalculated after loading a proper field to SmartSoil.

Click «Save» in the system settings section to apply the test creation method.

User settings

Use the checkboxes to select the details for displaying penetrations on the map (these settings are individual for each SmartSoil user):

  • Display the penetration point number — display the sequence number of the penetration in the test below the penetration marker (in addition to the soil resistance (compaction) value) (penetration number: compaction value).
  • Enable clustering for current test points — cluster penetration markers of the current test.
  • Enable clustering for points of adjacent tests — cluster penetration markers of adjacent tests.
More about clusters...

A cluster is the combination of several closely located to each other markers into a single one (a hexagon) when the map is zoomed out. The number in the hexagon indicates the quantity of combined markers.
